Hello everyone! I am so excited to introduce myself to you. My name is Kristen Corbett, your new Macaroni Kid Frankfort-Georgetown Publisher also serving Versailles and Midway. I am wife to an amazing man (we just celebrated our 1st year anniversary) and mother to our 2 year old son, who has brought the most beautiful light into our lives.
We moved to this area in July from Springfield, Massachusetts. We wanted to be closer to my mom and sister, who have a farm in Georgetown with lots of animals and who my son adores. Where we lived, we were lucky enough to have a Macaroni Kid Publisher who did all the work for us, giving us a guide as new parents about what was going on in the area.
When we moved to Georgetown I joined a few Facebook groups and started doing a lot of research on what family friendly activities are going on in the area. There are so many awesome events and activities going on, but I would see them and then forget or not see them again until it was too late. I missed Macaroni Kid where everything was in one place and I could plan out my week/weekend, so... I started one!!! I am super excited to share the Macaroni Kid experience with all of you.
Here's the deal. Macaroni Kid Frankfort-Georgetown is a FREE weekly newsletter and website focused on fun family events and information in the Frankfort-Georgetown-Versailles-Midway area. We gather together all kinds of local family events and activities each week, and add useful information about classes, family-focused businesses, service and product reviews, recipes, crafts, guides and more.
