PNC Festival of Lights Cincinnati Zoo

Enter to win a family four pack of tickets to see 3 million LED lights, Santa, and so much more!

By Kristen Corbett December 3, 2018

This past Friday evening we headed up to the 36th Annual PNC Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo. I can tell you that this will be a staple tradition in our family for years to come. My love for the Cincinnati Zoo started well before moving to Georgetown. My son and I watched countless videos on my mother's Facebook page as the beautiful story of the premie hippo Fiona unfolded. Couple that with one of my favorite things- Christmas lights, and we have a winner. What a magical place!

This event could even get the mean Grinch into the Holiday spirit. Everywhere you look, there is more to see. We fit as much as we could in and still missed so much, but when faced with a 2 year old total melt down or leaving, you leave! Make sure you head up to Cincinnati and check this "Wild Wonderland" out before January 1st

Who wants to go?! Thanks to the lovely people at the Cincinnati Zoo we have a Family Four Pack Giveaway! ENTER TO WIN HERE***UPDATE*** Giveaway has ended. Congratulations to our winner Emily Lehr!!!

* Be prepared to spend money if you want to eat, drink or get pictures with Santa. (We ended up getting a picture package, a 5x7 print, an ornament and 12 wallets for $35.... but they were so cute!!!)
* They advise getting there before 4 pm or after 8 pm to avoid traffic and going Sunday-Thursday to avoid crowds. We went on a beautiful Friday night at 6:30 pm and I have to say, it was crowded, but completely manageable! That is not even mentioning the fact that we were chasing a sprinting toddler through the zoo.
* Get your tickets before you go to beat the lines and save $$$. You can purchase them online HERE or at your local Kroger customer service counter. Ticket prices vary depending on day of ticket and type of ticket purchased.
* They are closed on Christmas Eve (open during the day) and Christmas Day.
* Festival of Lights Hours
  • Santa is available for visits at 4 pm
