All Aboard for a Magical Santa Train Experience at the Bluegrass Railroad Museum!
As the first snowflakes start to dance in Kentucky, Santa and Mrs. Claus are ready to spread their Holiday Cheer with a special visit to the Bluegrass Railroad Museum!
Join us for a heartwarming ride on the Santa Train, where Christmas magic comes to life!
Train Schedule:
Saturdays: Departures at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Sundays: Departure at 2 p.m. only
Be sure to arrive 30 minutes early to board and find your seats, as we’ll be leaving right on time. For large groups, arriving early is especially important to ensure you can sit together since there is no assigned seating.
Santa visits with every child on the train and while you wait for your turn, our friendly conductors, car hosts, and special guests will keep the holiday spirit alive with carol singing, scenic views of the winter wonderland, and plenty of festive fun. At the end of the ride, enjoy a sweet treat with candy canes for everyone before Santa waves his final farewell and heads back to the North Pole!
Important Notes:
* Restrooms are available at the station but not onboard the train. The ride will take about 90 minutes.
* We are handicap-accessible, and standard wheelchairs fit in our coach cars.
* Unlike our regular train rides, the Santa Trains do not include a stop at the Kentucky River Overlook.
